  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks (semi-sweet or dark)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Using a spatula, gently fold in the chocolate chunks, marshmallows, and walnuts until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop out 1/4 cup portions of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie for spreading.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are slightly undercooked.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes for better texture and prevent spreading. Use high-quality chocolate for enhanced flavor. Press extra marshmallows on top of cookies after baking for gooeyness.
