  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine chicken pieces with 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, and a generous pinch of black pepper. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Stir well and set aside.
  3. Heat the oil: Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the chicken: Add the marinated chicken to the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  5. SautΓ© the vegetables: In the same skillet, add sliced onion and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  6. Add the garlic: Toss in minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
