Quick, comforting, and packed with flavor, these cheesy garlic chicken wraps are perfect for busy evenings and family-friendly meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cloves garlic, freshly minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or a blend of mozzarella and cheddar
  • 4 large flour tortillas (regular or whole wheat)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and lightly browned. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and let it cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss it in the garlic butter sauce until well-coated. Remove from heat.
  5. Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Add a generous scoop of the chicken mixture to the center, then sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll it tightly.
  6. Heat the skillet over medium heat and place the wraps seam-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is golden and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
  7. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the wraps (optional) and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Warm tortillas before assembling for easier folding. Use toothpicks to secure wraps while cooking if needed. Experiment with different cheeses or add veggies for variety.
