This Flavorful Bruschetta Dip is a tangy, sweet, and savory appetizer that transforms classic bruschetta into a shareable, scoopable dip. Perfect for Superbowl parties or any gathering, it’s quick, fresh, and customizable.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh tomatoes, diced small (Roma or cherry tomatoes work best)
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped finely
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced or grated
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Toasted baguette slices, for dipping
  • Optional: shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: red chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Dice the tomatoes into small, even pieces. Remove seeds if using Roma tomatoes for a less watery dip.
  2. Stack the basil leaves, roll them tightly, and slice them thinly using the chiffonade method.
  3. Mince or finely chop 2-3 garlic cloves.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, basil, and garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Mix gently to combine.
  5. Season the dip with salt and black pepper to taste. Add red chili flakes if desired.
  6. Slice the baguette into thin rounds and toast them in a preheated oven at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella or Parmesan over the dip before serving.
  8. Spoon the bruschetta dip into a serving dish and arrange the toasted baguette slices around it.
